Counseling
The Ministry of Congregational Care and Counseling (MCCC) was established in 2000 to address the emotional and spiritual concerns of our disciples. Counseling works in concert with worship, preaching, prayer, Scriptural study, and other resources God provides to bring about healing to our community of believers. How do you know if you might benefit from counseling? Consider whether you struggle with any of the following challenges:
Consultations
Members of our staff occasionally provide consultation to persons and families who may be seeking more information or guidance about a specific situation. For example, while psychological testing and evaluations are not provided, we can give guidance to the process of seeking an evaluation, interpreting its results, or following through on recommendations.
Counseling and Consultation Appointments
Our licensed staff of mental health professionals and supervised, master's-level interns provides confidential counseling services at no cost to our disciples. To request an appointment, please complete the form below and return to the MCCC office (located behind the Chapel on the 2nd floor of the Educational Building). A member of our staff will contact you and arrange an appointment. Daytime and evening appointments are typically available.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for an initial appointment. Additionally, please note that in some instances, depending on your presenting concerns and our staff expertise, you may be referred to another community resource.
